iPhone 6 will come with 4.8-inch display

iPhone 6 will come with 4.8-inch display
Apple has settled on a screen size of 4.8-inch for the iPhone 6 an analyst firm has claimed.
The iPhone 6 will come with a 4.8-inch screen, an increase of 0.8-inches over the iPhone 5S. The claim was made by Cowen and Company.
A number of reports have claimed that Apple is exploring larger screen sizes for its next flagship smartphone.
However, this is the first that an analyst has claimed that Apple has set the size in stone.
Previous reports claimed that Apple may be considering launching two different, larger models in June.
A story published by Digitimes claimed that Apple is working on a 4.7-inch smartphone, while the Chinese analyst that claimed a June launch date also predicted a larger screen.
Cown and Company did not put a date on when the company is likely to launch the new, larger iPhone.

Not a one horse pony

A larger screen is not the only new feature set to debut in the iPhone 6, according to Cowen and Company.
It said the iPhone 6 will also come with 802.11ac, the latest standard in Wi-Fi technology.
The 4.8-inch version may not be the only large iPhone 6 coming though.
Apple, the Chinese analyst claimed, is believed to be working on a second, even larger iPhone – potentially the first iPhone phablet.
