A helicopter carrying two people on board has reportedly crashed while taking off from The Palm Jumeirah in Dubai on Wednesday evening.
According to Dubai Media Office official Twitter account, the two injured persons were taken to the hospital by police helicopter.
“A private helicopter with two people on board has crashed while taking off from Palm Jumeirah, they sustained moderate to critical injuries” @DXBMediaOffice tweeted.
So far, there has been no information on the passengers’ nationalities or on where the helicopter was originally headed. Eyewitnesses reported seeing and hearing fire trucks, police cars and ambulances on site.
