Adrian Ramos will replace Lewandowski at Dortmund, claims Matthaus
The Colombia international has been in superb form this campaign and could be on his way to BVB at the end of the season
Lothar Matthaus expects Borussia Dortmund to sign Hertha Berlin striker Adrian Ramos at the end of the season to replace Bayern Munich bound Robert Lewandowski.

BVB have been linked with a number of strikers in the past few months as they prepare for life after the Poland international, including Jackson Martinez, Diego Costa and Seydou Doumbia.

However, Matthaus believes that the 28-year-old Ramos is the main candidate to strengthen Dortmund's attack ahead of the 2014-15 campaign.

"I know that Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of Adrian Ramos," the former Germany international told Sky.

"I am convinced that Ramos will be Lewandowski's replacement at Dortmund."

Ramos joined Hertha from America de Cali in the summer of 2009 and has since developed into a key player at the Bundesliga side.

The attacker has been in sublime form this season, scoring 11 goals and creating three more in 18 Bundesliga appearances.

He has a contract with Hertha until the summer of 2015.
