United States and United Kingdom have jointly asked users stop using Internet Explorer – all of its versions due to malice fault.
The IE vulnerability, affecting all of versions of the browsers from Microsoft, has resulted in the appeal from the governments to prevent any tech disaster.
“The zero-day exploit, the term given to a previously unknown, unpatched flaw, allows attackers to install malware on your computer without your permission,” CNET has reported.
According to the report from Microsoft, it could steal you personal data besides tracking your online activities or even can control you computer.
The firm which revealed the bug, FireEye, said that the flaw is being used with a known Flash-based exploit technique to attack financial and defense organizations in the US via Internet Explorer 9, 10, and 11.
They use Windows 7, and 8 as well as Windows Vista to malign computers.
Computer Emergency Readiness Team in England and the US, who issues advice on browser usage, have recommended not to use the browser for the time being.
In case it’s not possible to switch the browsers, users are asked to disable Internet Explorer’s Flash plug-in.
