RIP: John Pinette

John Pinette, who made the world laugh with his jokes, was found dead in a Pittsburgh Hotel Room, he was only fifty. The medical examiner ruled the death as a result of natural causes, asJohn Pinette suffered a pulmonary embolism.

John Pinette died of natural causes stemming from a medical history he was being treated for, the medical examiner’s spokesman said. An autopsy will not be done since his personal doctor signed the death certificate.

Comedian John Pinette, died just three months after he told fans that he was postponing his national stand-up tour because of health problems.

John Pinette told his twitter followers earlier this year that he was physically spent after losing a lot of weight and undergoing some small surgeries, and would have to take a break from work. Pinette wrote, “I didn’t give myself enough time to heal this past fall and it has caught up to me, but I’m on the mend and I promise to hit the stage as soon as humanly possible.”

Pinette toured the comedy club circuit for more than two decades, but he may be best known for his role in the series finale of Seinfeld in 1998. His character, Howie, was a carjacking victim in the last episode.

John Pinette, who once weighed four hundred and fifty pounds, slimmed to about two hundred and fifty pounds in the past two years. His dramatic weight loss was the subject of a new comedy set he was developing that he titled They Call Me Slim.

Pinette was in college working on an accounting degree when he started performing at the Boston Comedy Clubs in the 1980s. He was working at a bank when he was offered $100 a night to perform at a club.

His reputation among his friends and fellow comedians was that of a brilliant, incredibly funny and a kind man. May his soul rest in peace.

David Beckham Set To Endorse A Scotch Whisky Brand

David Beckham is backing the global launch of a new Scotch Whisky that will be produced at theCameron Bridge Distillery in Fife, Scotland.

Beckham and his manager, Simon Fuller, will be involved in developing the Haig Club Single Grain Scotch Whisky brand, its strategy as well as the positioning.

David Beckham will also lead the promotion of a responsible drinking programme for Haig Club, which is at the heart of the brand. Haig Club is described as an innovation from the House Of Haig, Scotland’s oldest grain whisky dynasty.

David Gates, Diageo’s Global Head Of Premium Core Spirits, said: “David Beckham and Simon Fuller are renowned for breaking boundaries and shaking up markets in every sector in which they work. We are immensely proud to partner with them on our first large-scale grain whisky innovation.”

Diageo said it was planning a global launch for Haig Club later this year, with prices starting at about $US65 ($70) a bottle, a company spokeswoman said. The brand will be part of Diageo’sHouse Of Haig, Scotland’s oldest grain whisky distiller.

Diageo has already teamed up with Sean Diddy Combs to buy up-market tequila DeLeon, whileGeorge Clooney and Justin Timberlake have also put their names on tequila brands.

By associating with celebrities, drinks companies hope to widen the appeal of spirits categories, which traditionally have had a relatively narrow customer base.

Working closely with Diageo, we look forward to collaborating on Haig Club, valuing and treasuring the Haig traditions while reinventing this whisky for years to come.” stated David Beckham.

The oh-so-beautiful, and usually prim-and-proper Hollywood star Anne Hathaway is quite a naughty, rebellious girl inside. The feisty actress recently revealed she was “slightly drunk” at last month’s Oscars.

The Academy Awards, or Oscars, are possibly THE most prestigious, A-list film awards ceremony on the planet. And on the television show, Live With Kelly and Michael, Anne was brave enough to reveal how she “snuck a flask of tequila into the Oscars.”

Said Anne Hathaway, blushing crimson from the memory of her misdemeanour: “I got a perfect purse-sized flask, which I put tequila in, and I had a great time! It was really nice, and it’s a great ice-breaker!”

She then spoke about the seating gaffe she made, since she was slightly tipsy. “I was led to my seat with my husband and I stopped in the section I thought I was sitting in, which was next to my friend Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and they said ‘No, no, no, you’re sitting in the center.” She then plonked herself plum on her husband’s lap, when he grabbed an empty seat.

Referring to her past experience of hosting the Oscars, Anne Hathaway added cheekily, grinning from ear-to-ear, “I guess because I hosted one year. Block it out! I’ve gone through it a couple of times, so this year, I decided to do something a little different.”

Peaches Geldof Family Beyond Pain, Postmortem Reports Still Illusive

Post the sudden death of Peaches Geldof there has been too much that has been left to speculation. Police say a post-mortem on Peaches Geldof has proved inconclusive, and toxicology tests will be conducted in an attempt to determine cause of death.

The twenty five year old daughter of musician and campaigner Bob Geldof was found dead at her home in Kent on Monday, April 07, 2014.

The toxicology tests could take several weeks to come through, in the meanwhile the police officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death in order to compile a report for the coroner. Kent County Council has said it will make a decision on whether there needs to be an inquest based on the final results of the post-mortem.

In a statement, Peaches Geldof’s father Bob Geldof said: “She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?”

Peaches Geldof’s elder sister, Fifi Trixibelle, also paid tribute with a post on Instagram that read: “My beautiful baby sister, gone but never forgotten. I love you Peaches.”

Peaches Geldof married singer Thomas Cohen in 2012 and both have two kids, Astala, who is twenty three months old and Phaedra, who is only eleven months old.

President Higgins, who was due to meet Bob Geldof this week during a state visit to the UK, said his thoughts were with the family.

“This is such a difficult cross to bear for any family and all of our thoughts are with Peaches’ family and friends at this time. Sabina and I were due to meet Bob Geldof while on the state visit and we are thinking of him at this time of immense loss,” he added.

Also among those to pay tribute was Michelle Mone, founder of underwear firm Ultimo, who employed Geldof as a brand ambassador.

Jason Derulo is out with his new album titled Talk Dirty and is seems he has hit bulls eyes with it. Jason Derulo wrote over three hundred songs for his new album, Talk Dirty and then narrowed it down to eleven tracks, which he describes as his lasting experiences.

In addition to being remarkably honest with Talk Dirty, Jason Derulo wanted to make sure his release was a roller coaster ride for his listeners.

“Every single song was totally different from the last,” he explained. “My first album was written when I was nineteen years old.
