Paul Walker’s brother to take over role

Paul Walker’s brother to take over role
Paul Walker's younger brother has reportedly been asked to help complete the 'Fast Furious 7'.
The 40-year-old actor was on a break from the upcoming movie when he tragically lost his life in a blaze when a car he was travelling in crashed into a pole in Santa Clarita, California on November 30, and his lookalike sibling, Cody Walker, who has worked as a stuntman, has been asked to step in to help filmmakers finish the movie as a tribute to Paul.
A source told the MailOnline website: 'Producers had a string of meetings right after Paul's death.
'They soon realised they needed someone who looked like Paul to finish the movie and that's when they approached his nearly identical brother, Cody.
'They can shoot Cody from behind and at distance and if it's a shot they need Paul's face in close up they can CGI it later on.
''If Cody agrees it's because he wants to honour his brother's memory. There are many details that still need to be worked out, but right now the family and cast and crew are all still grieving.'
Cody, 25, lives in Oregon but is currently staying at his mother Cheryl Walker's home in Los Angeles ahead of Paul's funeral.
Universal Pictures shut down production on the movie, which began in September, when they heard about Paul's death and a source previously insisted the company was deliberating whether the film could be salvaged by reworking the script to write out Paul's character, Brian O'Conner.
A spokesperson said: 'We are not commenting on the status of things at this point.'
The late actor is expected be cremated this weekend and his ashes will reportedly be scattered at Hollywood's Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Dubai festival opens with award-winning Palestinian film

Dubai festival opens with award-winning Palestinian film
Dubai — The Dubai International Film Festival opened on Friday, promising a strong selection of Arabic-language feature films and documentaries, among them the award-winning Palestinian movie "Omar".
Hollywood stars Cate Blanchett and Martin Sheen attended the opening of the festival, kicking off with a screening of Hany Abu Assad's "Omar", the first-ever Palestinian film to be tipped for an Oscar.
The enthusiastically-received tale of love and betrayal in the Israeli-occupied territories received a jury prize in the "Un Certain Regard" category -- a closely-watched category for provocative films or follow-up works by emerging directors -- at the Cannes festival.
Abu Assad shot to prominence in 2006 with "Paradise Now", about two would-be suicide bombers.
A total of 174 films from 57 different countries, including over 100 films from the Arab world, will be screened at the festival running until December 14.
Arab films are in competition for the Muhr awards and include Egypt's "Factory Girl" by Muhamed Khan that explores sexism through events in the life of a young female factory worker.
Among them is also Moroccan feature film "Rock the Casbah" by Laila Marrakchi with veteran Egyptian actor Omar Sharif in the cast, in addition to other Arab stars including Hiam Abbas and Lubna Azabal.
Syrian filmmaker Mohamad Malas's movie which was shot in his homeland as conflict raged all around, "Ladder to Damascus", will also be screened in Dubai.
Film festivals in the Gulf region have replaced more established festivals in Cairo and Damascus as the major industry events in the region due to political unrest in Egypt and Syria.
Now in its 10th edition, "we see the fruits of our labours over the past decade: we have seen the variety and calibre of the films in our Arab and Asia-Africa Muhr competitions grow exponentially year on year," said Abdulhamid Juma, chairman of the Dubai festival.

Alessandra Ambrosio hates plastic surgery

Alessandra Ambrosio hates plastic surgery
Alessandra Ambrosio is freaked out by cosmetic surgery.
The Victoria's Secret supermodel, 32, has insisted she will never go under the knife again after she had a botched operation to pin back her ears when she was just 11.
The Brazilian star told Net-A-Porter's The Edit magazine: 'I always knew I wanted to be a model so I decided to have my ears pinned back, because they stuck out a bit. I found this doctor in my hometown [of Erechim] in Brazil who had only done it once before, so I was a guinea pig.
'The first few nights, it felt like someone had cut off my ears. For a year, I had to go back for mini-surgeries. Doctors say they can fix them, but cosmetic surgery freaks me out now.'
Alessandra, who has a daughter, Anja, five, and son, Noah, 19 months, with her fiance, Jamie Mazur, also admitted she had to work extremely hard to get back in shape after her pregnancies.
The brunette beauty, who has appeared in 'Entourage' and 'Gossip Girl' said: 'People kept telling me that I would bounce back straight away, but a week after giving birth I still had that balloon belly. It was the first time in my life that I had to diet. Before I had my kids, if I gained one or two pounds I would just eat salad and it would be OK. But when I got pregnant with Anja I really went for it with food. I gained 60lbs, so I had a lot to lose

Orlando Bloom parties with co-star
Orlando Bloom skipped the after party for his movie's premiere to attend his Broadway co-star's birthday.

The newly single actor, who announced his split from Australian supermodel, Miranda Kerr, after three years of marriage in October, attended the red carpet screening of 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' in New York City alone on Wednesday night (11.12.13), and reportedly seemed 'twitchy' while hanging out with his co-stars and actor Stephen Fry before rushing over to help his 'Romeo Juliet' co-star, Condola Rashad, celebrate her 27th birthday at the James Hotel's club, Jimmy, with her parents.

An eyewitness told the New York Post's Page Six that the duo seemed to be very aware that all eyes were on them.

The source said: 'There's been a lot of speculation about them dating, but they made sure to keep a friendly distance.'
The British actor, who has a two-year-old son, Flynn, with Miranda, appears to be enjoying his new single status as he joined Leonardo DiCaprio to party with a group of 'insanely hot' models in the city on Tuesday night (10.12.13).
The 36-year-old star recently insisted he would 'always love' Miranda because of their son.

He explained: 'We're a family and we'll always love each other and we're going to be in each other's lives.'
Miranda has been romantically linked to her long-time friend, Australian billionaire James Packer, in recent weeks

Michael Lohan blasts Barron Hilton

Michael Lohan blasts Barron Hilton
Lindsay Lohan's father has branded Barron Hilton a 'vulgar disgusting human being'.
Michael Lohan has hit back the hotel heir, 24, who is Paris Hilton's younger brother, after he accused the 'Mean Girls' star of ordering her friend, Ray LeMoine, to allegedly attack him after he insulted the actress at a house party in Miami, Florida, last Friday (06.12.13).
Michael has rushed to defend his daughter and told gossip website RadarOnline.com that he had no doubt that Barron was the 'instigator' of the incident that lead to him being hospitalised.
He said: 'Barron has been in trouble in the past, this isn't the first time. He has had a lot of issues himself. I heard he was involved in a fight about three years ago with someone that he was accused of beating up.'
He added: 'I have no doubt that he was the instigator and pointed the finger at Lindsay.
'He is a vulgar disgusting human being. A really horrible person.
'I wish I had a party and he showed up and wouldn't leave.'
Barron's aunt, Kyle Richards, previously defended him and insisted Lindsay was to blame for the assault.
She said: 'He is the most kindest, gentle soul you ever met: He would not lift a finger against anyone.
'He made a comment against her that wasn't polite, and she went up and said, 'Want to speak against me? This is what you get.'
'And these people jumped him and beat his face. I just saw him the night before I arrived here and he was all broken - his face.'
